A Fall Event You Won’t Want to Miss — September 13!

Something BIG is happening in Washington County… and when we say big, we mean COMBINE big!

On Sunday, September 13, Cornucopia Farm will host The Great Combine Pull, an incredible community event supporting Special Olympics Washington County.
Recently, we had the opportunity to sit down and learn more about the event—and we quickly discovered there is a lot more to this story than simply seeing who can pull a giant piece of farm equipment.

In the video, we talk about:
What exactly is a combine?
If you didn't grow up around farming, you may have seen one in the fields without realizing just how incredible these machines are—or what they actually do.
What is a Combine Pull?
Teams will work together to see if they can move a massive combine using nothing but teamwork, determination, and a whole lot of muscle!
Why Special Olympics?
This event is about far more than strength. It's about supporting the incredible athletes of Special Olympics Washington County and celebrating what people can accomplish when a community gets behind them.
And the story behind Cornucopia Farm…
We also get to hear the love story that helped start it all. Sometimes a farm isn't just land, crops, and equipment—it's generations of memories, relationships, hard work, and a dream that grew into something much bigger.

This is the kind of event we love seeing in Washington County—local people, local businesses, farmers, families, and athletes coming together for something bigger than themselves.
