A Parking Lot Prayer Answered
The Story Behind Our Move and Our Commitment to Serve Even Better
I may really be showing my age here, but I am continually amazed at what can be created with a 3D printer.
We got Isaiah a 3D printer for Christmas, and now every day he’s making a new toy for himself and his brothers. They’ve printed everything from sharks to dragons to — Ethan’s favorite — a T-Rex.
Growing up, I never would have dreamed of something like this: that you could design something on a computer and then print a real, physical object. We literally go from nothing to something in just a few hours. It amazes me how far technology has come.
But what amazes me even more is how impactful Mosier Family Chiropractic has become in our community and how many people we are honored to serve. From the very beginning, Ellen and I believed that if you take care of people, people will take care of you.
Over the past nine years, Mosier Family Chiropractic has continued to grow through outreach, relationships, and people like you who share the benefits of chiropractic care and refer your friends and family to have their spines checked.
Because of that growth, Ellen and I recently had to make a big decision — or, in other words, a big investment back into the community.
I want you to be the first to know, but before I share what we’ve done, let me tell you a story.
When we first came to town, we were on a shoestring budget, and starting a chiropractic practice felt like a stretch… maybe even impossible.
After our real estate agent showed us the building, we needed time to think and pray. So we grabbed Dairy Queen and sat in the parking lot to pray. We asked God that one day this parking lot would be full and that lives would be transformed through the chiropractic care we provide.
And then we fell asleep.
Turns out God has a sense of humor — because it was Halloween weekend, and participants of the John Hay Trunk-or-Treat were using our parking lot. I woke up to see every single parking spot filled.
It felt like a sign.
We didn’t know how we would do it — but we knew this was where we were supposed to be.
Fast forward nine years… our family has grown, our practice has grown, and now that same parking lot stays full — and sometimes overflows.
So we’ve made the decision to expand into a larger facility in town. Once renovations are completed by Cottongim Enterprises, we will be moving into the former Save-A-Lot building next to Ace Hardware and O’Reilly Auto Parts.
Our prayer is that God will continue to use us — and this new space — to better serve the community we love and cherish.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
Your friend,
Dr. Mosier
